I must start this post by admitting something. I get freakishly nervous about shooting INDOORS. I love using 100% natural / available light for my sessions and so every time I have a shoot scheduled at a clients home – my nerves start rumbling. Most of the times the day of the shoot is the first time I’ve seen the available shooting spaces and therefore I’m not all that familiar with the light to expect in the home. This was one of those times. HOWEVER, the minute I opened up the bedroom door I was THRILLED! The softest most perfect window light was pouring in on this perfect white bed. I might have squealed with excitement!
On top of that excitement I had the most eager, prepared, gorgeous and kind mom-to-be to work with. She knew exactly what she wanted for her maternity session and I hope I exceeded all of her visions. After shooting in her home we then headed over to a nearby clearing that was so lush from all the recent rain. She walked her way through some pretty high grass spots just to ‘get the shot’ and for that – I’m ever so grateful! Elise – please enjoy and I look forward to sharing some more with you!!
What gorgeous maternity photography! The light you captured is beautiful, and the mom-to-be is absolutely stunning. Great work! I bet they are so excited to hold their newborn!
