dallas newborn & family in home photo session

(The first of a few blog posts this wknd.  Oh  and let me apologize for the delay in those families waiting on a post.  As much as I try to share something from each session – sometimes it’s not possible in this busy season.  Promise I’ll try so keep an eye out! )

Remember these 3?  Well, I was so glad that this newborn session worked out the way it did.  I got a call from this little guy’s mom on a Wednesday and as luck would have it my morning on that next day was free.   At 8 days old – he was just simply perfect and I couldn’t have asked for a better little guy to work with.  Somehow we managed to have him sleep and SMILE the entire way through the shoot – and we even escaped any potty messes.  Luck was certainly on our side 🙂   I have so many more I could share from this session but I had to force myself to stop b/c I’m already starting to get backed up with Fall 2011 work.  EEK. But for now here’s a few… (Side note – their sweet little dog was a bit jealous he wasn’t getting a session and he literally jumped up for 1 shot.  Priceless)

A few things I loved about this session…1) The light in his nursery – so beautiful 2) how super sleepy, sweet and smiley he was… (8 days old – PERFECTION!) 3) the overwhelming love that his new mommy and daddy have for him 4) the family cuddle shots… LOVE! 5) the fact that the dog was watching ever move I made 🙂

If you are in need of a newborn session – please contact me as soon as possible so we can schedule something.  Remember 2wks and under is the perfect time to photograph them.
